Plan now and you'll be stress-free figuring out what to wear this summer. We'll show you made in the USA styles you'll love and reach for time and time again for all your summer activities.
White jeans are a definite must-have for summer and will pair nicely with a floral top, denim jacket, lightweight cardigan, tunic, or a long, colorful flowing top. You could go for an all white monochromatic look too, with a colorful handbag. Take your pick of styles - whatever you're comfortable with. Here are a couple from 7 For All Mankind:
A wrap dress (or faux wrap dress in this case) is flattering to many body shapes - hourglass, inverted triangle, pear, apple and rectangle (do you know which body shape you have? Find out here). You can put a camisole underneath if you're worried about the v-neck wrap style. Add an on-trend long rose quartz necklace, grab a light sweater, and you're out the door.
White Button Down Shirt
Cotton Printed Dress
A cotton dress is lightweight and airy, perfect for those warm summer days! We love this capped sleeve floral cotton dress by Laura Tanzer, an amazing Arizona designer. This dress is available in navy, taupe, or this cheery red floral. The neckline, sleeve cut and longer knee length makes this cotton dress flattering to many body shapes.
This Hanky Panky Retro Lace Bralette would be really cute under that sage top.
Oversized White Shirt
You can wear an oversized white shirt over pants or a long printed skirt at work, or with leggings or jeans on the weekends. It's comfy, always stylish, and you can dress it up or down. Here's a cotton knit with a mandarin collar made with organic cotton by Eileen Fisher.
Find a flirty pencil skirt like this vibrant fuschia skirt to wear to work with a one-button blazer or out on date night with a sexy black top (pic below). The pencil skirt design is classic and its 4-way-stretch fabric is super comfortable and moves with you, whether you're running for the printer or kicking up your heels on the dance floor.
Wear it with this off-the-shoulder sexy black top after hours.
Leggings can be styled in so many ways! These faded black denim capri leggings have a denim look and texture to them, but are much more comfortable. Pair with our tee pictured below, a denim boyfriend shirt, and your favorite sneakers and head out to the Farmer's Market. Check out How and Where to Wear Leggings for more tips.
Another super versatile summer wardrobe item are khaki shorts. They're available in every possible length, and are a neutral tone you can wear with just about any other color. These Linen Blend Khaki Petal Shorts are pricey, but they are beautiful!
We like khaki shorts with brighter colored tops, but this off the shoulder black festival top from Lulu's would look really cute with those petal shorts and black sandals with heels for a summer evening out.
Sometimes a summer day can be so hot you just don't even want to get dressed. A maxi dress is the next best thing to wearing nothing - it's lightweight, breezy in all the right places, and pretty. Especially this Cold Shoulder Maxi Dress from Bloomingdale's.
Don't Forget the Sunscreen
